Murray State QB Miller leaves team
Apr 11, 2014 - 6:13 PM Murray, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Murray State football coach Chris Hatcher announced on Friday that starting quarterback Maikhail Miller has left the program."Maikhail has left the team for personal reasons," Hatcher said in a university statement. "We would like to wish him the best in his future endeavors."
Miller played one season at Ole Miss in 2012, then transferred to Murray State before his sophomore season last year. In 10 starts, he completed 219-of-327 pass attempts for 2,221 yards and 18 touchdowns with 11 interceptions.
The Fulton, Miss., resident also rushed for 429 yards and five touchdowns.
Murray State is currently going through spring practices.
