Chattanooga dominates All-SoCon awards
Nov 25, 2014 - 4:38 PM Spartanburg, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - Repeat winners from Chattanooga ruled the day as the Southern Conference football coaches handed out their postseason awards Tuesday.After Chattanooga earned its second straight conference title, senior defensive end Davis Tull was named the SoCon defensive player of the year for a third straight season, junior quarterback Jacob Huesman was named the offensive player of the year for a second consecutive season and Russ Huesman was named the coach of the year for a second consecutive season.
Other awards went to VMI quarterback Al Cobb (freshman of the year) and Chattanooga sophomore offensive lineman Corey Levin (Jacobs Blocking Award).
