Indiana State to host six in 2015

Mar 24, 2015 - 8:35 PM Terre Haute, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Indiana State football will play six home games this season as it tries to build on its first FCS playoff appearance in 30 years.

The Sycamores finished with an 8-6 record last year, appearing in the postseason for the first time since 1984 and winning at Eastern Kentucky for their first playoff victory since '83.

This year, coach Mike Sanford's squad will host Butler (Sept. 5) and Southeast Missouri State (Sept. 19) in non-conference games, and Southern Illinois (Oct. 17, Homecoming), four-time defending FCS champion North Dakota State (Oct. 24), Western Illinois (Nov. 14) and Youngstown State (Nov. 21) in Missouri Valley Football Conference action.
