Southeast Missouri to face Kansas in 2017

Apr 20, 2015 - 3:52 PM Cape Girardeau, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Southeast Missouri football will open its 2017 season with a visit to the University of Kansas.

The Ohio Valley Conference school said Monday the matchup will take place Sept. 2, 2017 in Lawrence.

The two programs have played once, with Kansas winning 34-28 in 2014.

Southeast Missouri will open the 2015 season by visiting Missouri on Sept. 5. The Redhawks also have future FBS games against Memphis (Sept. 3, 2016), Missouri (Sept. 21, 2019) and Iowa State (SepT. 3, 2022).
