Texas A&M, Arkansas renew rivalry

Mar 10, 2008 - 3:35 PM ARLINGTON, Texas (Ticker) -- Former Southwest Conference rivals Arkansas and Texas A&M will renew their rivalry in 2009, the schools announced Monday.

The schools have signed an agreement to play every season through 2018. The games will be played at the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium, which is scheduled to open in 2009.

The teams have met 65 times in a series dating to 1903 but not since 1991, Arkansas' final season in the Southwest Conference. The Razorbacks joined the Southeastern Conference the following year.

Arkansas holds a 38-24-3 lead in the series.
