Arkansas State RB Brown suspended
May 9, 2008 - 3:38 AM JONESBORO, Arkansas (Ticker) -- Arkansas State sophomore running back Preston Brown was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, the school announced Thursday."I am aware of the situation with Preston Brown and once all the facts have been gathered, we will move forward accordingly and a final decision on his status as a member of the ASU football team will be made," Arkansas State coach Steve Roberts said.
Brown ran for 298 yards and a touchdown on 54 carries last season as a red-shirt freshman. Brown also had 20 receptions for 192 yards and another touchdown.
