West Virginia QB White leaves games with injury

Oct 4, 2008 - 7:16 PM MORGANTOWN, West Virginia (Ticker) -- West Virginia quarterback Pat White left Saturday's game against Rutgers with an undisclosed injury.

It marked the second straight week that White, who suffered a bruised thumb last week against Marshall, sustained an injury. The speedy signal-caller walked gingerly to the sideline after being tackled on a 10-yard run in the third quarter.

West Virginia has not revealed the nature of White's latest injury.

White, who threw two touchdown passes in the first half, was replaced by Jarrett Brown, who scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter.
