Kentucky DE Jarmon to undergo surgery
Nov 17, 2008 - 10:54 PM LEXINGTON, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Kentucky defensive end Jeremy Jarmon will undergo arthroscopic surgery Tuesday to repair a cartilage tear in his right knee.Wildcats coach Rich Brooks made the announcement Monday, saying that Jarmon was doubtful for the November 29 contest against Tennessee.
Jarmon, who has 33 tackles and 3 1/2 sacks this season, suffered the injury during last week's 31-24 loss to Vanderbilt. The junior also has two forced fumbles.
