PAULS VALLEY, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Oklahoma wide receiver Corey Wilson has been hospitalized in critical condition following a car crash.

Wilson, 20, suffered serious head and internal injuries from the roll-over collision, which occurred at approximately 1 p.m. local time Friday afternoon. The sophomore was flown to Oklahoma University Medical Center, where he currently is being treated.

The hospital has not released details regarding Wilson's status, citing a request from the player's family.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated that Wilson was driving southbound on Interstate 35 when his Chevrolet Trailblazer collided with a pickup truck that was traveling in the same direction.
