Denver Broncos release 4 players
Jun 19, 2009 - 2:14 AM DENVER(AP) -- The Denver Broncos have released linebacker Louis Green, safety Herana-Daze Jones, running back Kestahn Moore and cornerback Rashod Moulton.The team announced the moves Thursday.
Green played 64 games with Denver since signing with the team in January 2003. He had 36 special-teams tackles and seven defensive stops with the Broncos.
Jones is a fourth-year safety who spent the final month of the 2008 season on the Broncos' roster after joining the club in December. He played in the Broncos' final two games last season, notching two tackles on special teams.
The Broncos signed Moore, a rookie from Florida, as an undrafted free agent in April. Moulton is a first-year cornerback who spent most of the 2008 season on Denver's practice squad.
