Suspect in Broncos player's death appears in court
Jun 26, 2009 - 6:55 AM DENVER(AP) -- The man accused in the shooting death of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams will be in court to enter a plea in a separate murder case.Willie Clark is charged along with two other men in the shooting death of Kalonniann Clark, a witness in an attempted murder case. Also charged in Clark's death are Brian Hicks and Shun Birch.
They also are expected to enter pleas Friday.
Willie Clark was indicted on first-degree murder and 38 other counts in the New Year's Day 2007 slaying of Williams.
Clark is scheduled to go on trial for the Williams case on Oct. 13.
No one has shouted yet.
