Bucs reinstate G Arron Sears
Nov 17, 2009 - 11:51 PM TAMPA, Fla.(AP) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reinstated guard Arron Sears to the team from the reserve/did not report list.Sears has not been with the team since offseason workouts because of personal reasons. The Bucs have not discussed specifics of his situation.
The third-year pro was placed on the reserve/did not report list at the start of training camp in July.
The club said Tuesday it has a two-week exemption in which Sears will not count toward the 53-man roster. During that period, Sears is eligible to practice and be involved in all team activities.
A second-round pick in the 2007 draft, Sears started 31 games in his first two seasons.
