Panthers WR Smith OK after minor car accident
Nov 19, 2009 - 11:50 PM CHARLOTTE, N.C.(AP) -- Carolina Panthers receiver Steve Smith will play against the Miami Dolphins after being involved in a car accident on the way to the game.A team official said somebody "bumped into" Smith's car Thursday, but said Smith was able to continue to drive to the stadium and is fine.
The four-time Pro Bowl pick has 38 catches for 512 yards and three touchdowns this season. Two of those scores came in Sunday's win over Atlanta.
