Polamalu inactive for Steelers
Nov 22, 2009 - 5:05 PM KANSAS CITY, Mo.(AP) -- Five-time Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu was inactive for Pittsburgh on Sunday because of an injury to his left knee. He was replaced by Tyrone Carter.Polamu was sidelined earlier this season for an injury to the left knee.
Also inactive for the defending Super Bowl champs against Kansas City was defensive end Travis Kirschke, who has a calf injury. He was replaced by Nick Eason.
The only starter inactive for the Chiefs was linebacker Mike Vrabel with a knee problem.
