Patriots re-sign 6 practice squad players
Jan 13, 2010 - 4:25 PM FOXBOROUGH, Mass.(AP) -- The New England Patriots have signed six players who ended the season on the team's practice squad.The team announced Wednesday that it had signed tight ends Robbie Agnone and Rob Myers, defensive linemen Adrian Grady and Darryl Richard, wide receiver Darnell Jenkins and quarterback Jeff Rowe.
Rowe was drafted out of Nevada in the fifth round in 2007 by Cincinnati and spent that season as the third quarterback. He began 2008 on the Bengals practice squad, was signed to Seattle's 53-man roster that December and was waived by the Seahawks before the 2009 season.
Richard was drafted by the Patriots in 2009 in the seventh round out of Georgia Tech.
The other four originally signed as rookie free agents with teams other than the Patriots.
