Rams still deciding what to do with top pick
Feb 26, 2010 - 4:20 PM INDIANAPOLIS(AP) -- St. Louis Rams general manager Billy Devaney has not decided what to do with the first pick in April's NFL draft.Devaney contradicted reports Friday that the Rams have settled on taking quarterback Sam Bradford with the No. 1 pick, were talking to the Eagles about trading for Michael Vick or that they had been entertaining offers to trade out of the top spot.
Devaney said at the league's annual scouting combine that the Rams were still gathering information to make the right choice.
He also said the Rams were not interested in trading Steven Jackson and, in fact, they would like to acquire more players like Jackson this offseason.
