Bills re-sign DE Kelsay
Feb 26, 2007 - 10:13 PM ORCHARD PARK, New York (Ticker) -- The Buffalo Bills were not about to let Chris Kelsay hit the market.The Bills on Monday re-signed the defensive end.
Financial terms were not disclosed for Kelsay, who was eligible to become an unrestricted free agent on Friday.
Kelsay, 27, recorded his best season in four campaigns with the Bills in 2006, registering 88 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks. He finished third on the team in sacks behind fellow defensive ends Aaron Schobel (14 1/2) and Ryan Denney (six).
A second-round pick in 2003, the 6-3, 275-pound Kelsay has recorded 164 tackles and 12 1/2 sacks in 64 career games.
