Packers DE Neal suspended 4 games
Mar 13, 2012 - 11:20 PM New York, NY (Sports Network) - Green Bay Packers defensive end Mike Neal has been suspended four games without pay by the NFL for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.The suspension, announced by the league in a statement Tuesday, will keep Neal off the field for the first four games of the 2012 regular season.
Neal will be eligible to return to the team's active roster on the day after its fourth regular season game. He is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.
Neal, 24, had three tackles in seven games last season and three stops in two games the previous season.
