Lions ink DE Brown, re-sign two others
Mar 22, 2012 - 8:36 PM Allen Park, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Lions inked defensive end Everette Brown and re-signed linebacker Ashlee Palmer and tight end Will Heller to one-year deals on Thursday.Brown, a 2009 second-round pick of the Carolina Panthers, has yet to live up to expectations, recording just six sacks in three years.
Palmer, a three-year pro, has registered 87 tackles and one sack during his brief career, while the 31-year-old blocking specialist Heller caught six balls for 42 yards last season.
