Broncos sign WR Stokley
Apr 16, 2012 - 9:07 PM Englewood, CO (Sports Network) - The Denver Broncos signed veteran wide receiver Brandon Stokley on Monday.Stokley will be entering his 14th season and will return to the Broncos after splitting the last two years with the Seahawks and the Giants.
He was with Denver from 2007-09, recording 108 receptions for 1,490 yards and 12 touchdowns in that span.
The 35-year-old will reunite with Broncos' new quarterback Peyton Manning, who he played with for the Colts from 2003-06.
Stokley had his best statistical season with Manning in 2004 when the receiver racked up 68 receptions for 1,077 yards and 10 scores.
Over 131 career games with the Ravens, Colts, Broncos, Seahawks and Giants, Stokley has 339 catches for 4,680 yards and 34 touchdowns.
