Patriots re-sign WR Gaffney
May 7, 2012 - 8:49 PM Foxboro, MA (Sports Network) - The New England Patriots re-signed wide receiver Jabar Gaffney on Monday.Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Gaffney spent the 2006-08 seasons with the Patriots, recording 85 receptions for 1,059 yards and eight touchdowns in that span.
He spent the next two years with the Denver Broncos before playing last season with the Washington Redskins.
A former second-round draft pick by the Houston Texans in 2002, Gaffney has 443 career receptions for 5,622 yards and 24 touchdowns in 155 games for Houston, New England, Denver and Washington.
