Texans sign QB Beck
May 11, 2012 - 8:38 PM Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Houston Texans signed quarterback John Beck on Friday.Beck, a second-round draft selection out of Brigham Young in 2007, spent the last three seasons with the Washington Redskins. The 30-year-old started three games with the Redskins last year and threw for 858 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions.
Over the course of his five-year career with the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens and Redskins, Beck has thrown for 1,417 yards to go with three touchdowns and seven interceptions.
