Redskins sign CB Biggers
Mar 20, 2013 - 7:09 PM Ashburn, VA (Sports Network) - The Washington Redskins have signed unrestricted free agent cornerback E.J. Biggers, the team announced on Wednesday.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Biggers, a Western Michigan product, spent his first three seasons with Tampa Bay after the Buccaneers picked him the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. The 6-foot, 180 pounder appeared in 45 games -- with 24 starts -- and registered 153 tackles, three interceptions, 27 passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
The 25-year-old picked up his first career sack last season and set career- high with 12 games started.
