Report: Texans sign Ed Reed
Mar 21, 2013 - 5:22 AM Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Houston Texans have reportedly landed veteran Ed Reed through free agency.According to multiple outlets, including the Houston Chronicle, Reed agreed to a deal with Houston on Wednesday night.
Reed has spent his entire 11-year career in Baltimore after the Ravens selected him with the 24th overall pick in the 2002 draft out of the University of Miami.
The play-making free safety has led the league in interceptions three times, totaling 61 in 160 career games and taking seven back for touchdowns.
He has been a Pro Bowl selection nine times and last season helped the Ravens capture the Super Bowl.
