Vikings keep Mitchell
Mar 28, 2013 - 3:21 PM Eden Prairie, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed linebacker Marvin Mitchell.Terms of the deal for the unrestricted free agent were undisclosed.
Mitchell joined the Vikings last season after spending 2011 with Miami and posted 10 defensive tackles in 11 games. He is also a top contributor on special teams.
The Tennessee product played his first four NFL seasons with New Orleans and has started three times in 82 games, totaling 129 tackles with an interception and three fumble recoveries.
