Eagles acquire DE Geathers from Colts
Mar 28, 2013 - 6:26 PM Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Eagles acquired defensive end Clifton Geathers from the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday in exchange for fullback Stanley Havili.Geathers played in eight games for Indianapolis in 2012, tallying five tackles and a sack.
Over the course of his three-year career, the 25-year-old South Carolina product has also spent time with the Browns, Dolphins, Seahawks and Cowboys.
Havili, a seventh-round draft choice of the Eagles in 2011, had seven catches totaling 43 yards along with a rushing touchdown in 15 games last season. He spent his entire rookie campaign on Philadelphia's practice squad.
