Bears agree to terms with G Slauson
Mar 29, 2013 - 6:57 PM Lake Forest, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bears and guard Matt Slauson agreed to terms on a one-year contract, the team announced on Friday.Slauson, 27, spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the New York Jets and started 48 of 51 games played after the team selected him in sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Nebraska.
The 6-foot-5, 316-pounder should help a Chicago line that lost Lance Louis this week after he signed with Miami, though the team also added Jermon Bushrod this offseason to help solidify the left side of the line.
