Bengals release CB Allen
Apr 10, 2013 - 6:45 PM Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals released cornerback Jason Allen on Wednesday.Allen, 29, signed a two-year, $8.2 million contract last offseason. However, he only recorded three tackles in four games last season. He was due $3 million for 2013.
The 16th overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, Allen has 247 tackles, 33 passes defensed, 15 interceptions and one forced fumble in 98 career games with the Dolphins (2006-10), Texans (2010-11) and Bengals.
