Bengals re-sign Scott
Apr 15, 2013 - 3:26 PM Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed running back Bernard Scott.Terms of the deal for the unrestricted free agent were not disclosed.
Scott spent each of his first four NFL seasons with Cincinnati and played just two games in an injury-plagued 2012 campaign. He missed a few games early because of hand and ankle issues, then went on injured reserve in early October with a torn left ACL.
The 29-year-old Abilene Christian product has 1,035 rushing yards and four touchdowns in 47 games, including three starts. He has averaged 24.5 yards on 73 kickoff returns, including a 96-yard touchdown against Pittsburgh in 2009.
