Saints add Seneca Wallace
Apr 15, 2013 - 6:07 PM Metairie, LA (Sports Network) - The New Orleans Saints have signed quarterback Seneca Wallace to a one-year contract.Financial terms were not disclosed.
Wallace did not play in 2012 after being cut by Cleveland during training camp. He played two seasons with the Browns and posted a 1-6 record in seven starts after spending his first seven years in Seattle.
The 32-year-old Iowa State product has started 21 games in his NFL career and is expected to compete with Luke McCown as a backup to Drew Brees.
Wallace has completed 59.2 percent of his passes for 4,808 yards with 31 touchdowns and 18 interceptions in 62 NFL games.
