Bengals sign TE Smith
Apr 16, 2013 - 5:45 PM Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals signed tight end Alex Smith on Tuesday.Smith spent the past three seasons with the Browns, catching 28 passes for 184 yards and one touchdown during that span. He appeared in 12 games last season, starting two, and finished with 13 catches for 47 yards.
In 103 career games with Tampa Bay, Philadelphia and Cleveland, Smith has caught 160 passes for 1,461 yards and 12 touchdowns.
