Steelers ink RB/KR Stephens-Howling
Apr 26, 2013 - 9:37 PM Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Friday that the team signed running back/kick returner LaRod Stephens-Howling to a one-year deal.Stephens-Howling, a former Pittsburgh Panther and seventh round draft pick with Arizona in 2009, has played in 57 career games and is known for his special teams abilities.
Over his four-year career, all with the Cardinals, Stephens-Howling has returned three kickoffs for touchdowns. The 26-year-old averaged 22.5 yards per return last season and also carried the ball 111 times for 357 yards and a career-high four touchdowns.
