49ers add OL Snyder
May 6, 2013 - 9:24 PM Santa Clara, CA (Sports Network) - The San Francisco 49ers have brought back Adam Snyder for a second tour of duty, with the reigning NFC champions signing the veteran offensive lineman to a two-year contract on Monday.A third-round selection by San Francisco in the 2005 draft, Snyder made 69 starts at four different positions during a seven-year stint with the Niners that ended when the 31-year-old signed a five-year contract with NFC West- rival Arizona prior to the 2012 campaign.
He started 14 games at right guard for the Cardinals last season, but was released shortly after the club selected North Carolina guard Jonathan Cooper with the seventh overall pick in April's draft.
