Jaguars sign veteran CB Trufant
May 7, 2013 - 7:23 PM Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to terms with longtime Seattle Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant on Tuesday.Trufant spent his first 10 seasons with Seattle, the team that made him the 11th pick in the 2003 NFL Draft.
The 32-year-old brings a wealth of experience, having played in 136 games with 125 starts over the course of his career.
During his time with the Seahawks, Trufant deflected 115 passes and recorded 21 interceptions, including a career-best seven during an All-Pro season in 2007. He's made 638 tackles and has forced five fumbles.
Last season, the veteran played in 12 games and finished with 34 tackles.
Jacksonville also announced the release of cornerback Antwaun Molden.
