Saints sign Jenkins, all draft picks now under contract
May 10, 2013 - 7:55 PM Metairie, LA (Sports Network) - The New Orleans Saints reached a four-year deal with their second third-round selection, defensive tackle John Jenkins, on Friday and now have their entire 2013 draft class under contract.Jenkins was the 82nd player chosen in the 2013 NFL Draft. After transferring to Georgia, he started 20-of-27 contests at nose guard over two seasons and recorded 78 tackles, four sacks and one interception.
New Orleans came to terms on Thursday with fellow rookie selections safety Kenny Vaccaro, tackle Terron Armstead, wide receiver Kenny Stills and linebacker Rufus Johnson.
