Ravens' Pitta signs free agent tender
May 13, 2013 - 8:33 PM Owings Mills, MD (Sports Network) - The Baltimore Ravens and tight end Dennis Pitta came to terms on a restricted free agent tender on Monday.Pitta signed a second-round tender worth $2.023 million, meaning the fourth- year tight end will play for the team for the 2013 season and can now join voluntary offseason workouts.
The Brigham Young product had one of his best seasons last year, hauling in career-highs with 61 catches for 669 yards and seven touchdowns for the Super Bowl champs.
