Pats sign OL Green, release DL Deaderick
May 13, 2013 - 9:47 PM Foxboro, MA (Sports Network) - The New England Patriots signed offensive lineman Tyronne Green on Monday and released defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick.Green has played in 41 NFL games with 28 starts at both guard positions, including 13 at left guard last season with the San Diego Chargers.
Deaderick spent the last three seasons with the Patriots after joining the team as a seventh-round pick out of Alabama in 2010. Over 34 games, including 14 starts, Deaderick registered 51 tackles, five sacks and two forced fumbles.
The Patriots also signed rookie free agent offensive lineman R.J. Mattes on Monday and released wide receiver Andre Holmes.
