Eagles sign RB Felix Jones
May 14, 2013 - 3:43 PM Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Former Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday.Jones spent the first five years of his career with the Cowboys. He will join a running back stable in Philadelphia led by LeSean McCoy and backup Bryce Brown.
The 26-year-old Arkansas product carried the ball 111 times for 402 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games (seven starts) last season. He also caught 25 passes for 262 yards and two scores.
In 64 career games with the Cowboys, Jones rushed for 2,728 yards and 11 touchdowns. He added 127 receptions for 1,062 yards and three scores.
The Eagles made room on the roster by releasing wide receiver Marvin McNutt.
