Bengals sign third-round pick Williams
May 24, 2013 - 4:01 PM Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals have signed safety Shawn Williams, their third-round pick in April's draft.Williams appeared in 54 games at Georgia and was considered one of the top run-stoppers in college. He was the club's second-leading tackler last season with 98 stops and led the Bulldogs with 72 tackles in 2011.
In addition, the team captain contributed on special teams with 23 career tackles.
