Former Bears OT Evey passes away
May 25, 2013 - 12:40 AM Knoxville, TN (Sports Network) - Former Chicago Bears offensive tackle Dick Evey passed away at the age of 72 on Thursday.He passed away after a long illness at Ben Atchley State Veterans Home.
A first-round pick out of Tennessee in 1964, he played with the Bears from 1964 through the 1969 season, then spent a year each with the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions before retiring.
