Chargers sign first-round pick Fluker
Jun 5, 2013 - 8:54 PM San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - The San Diego Chargers announced Wednesday that they have reached a deal with rookie offensive tackle D.J. Fluker, the team's first-round selection in this past April's draft.According to NFL.com, the contract is for four years for a total of $11.4 million and contains a $6.6 million signing bonus.
The Chargers nabbed Fluker, a second-team All-America honoree for BCS national champion Alabama as a junior in 2012, with the 11th overall choice. The 6- foot-5, 339-pound prospect is considered the favorite to start at right tackle as a rookie.
With Fluker now signed, San Diego has all six members of its 2013 draft class under contract.
