Green Bay RB DuJuan Harris has cyst on lung removed
Jun 5, 2013 - 10:57 PM Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - Green Bay Packers running back DuJuan Harris revealed on Wednesday he missed minicamp because he had a fist-sized cyst on his lung.The Green Bay Press Gazette reports Harris had the cyst surgically removed Tuesday.
Harris posted a picture, via Instagram, of himself hooked up to a monitor and flexing his right biceps. A large patch was placed on the right side of his chest.
"EVERYTHING IS FINE, dr.s found a fist sized cyst on my lung next to my heart," Harris said via Twitter. "Shows the importance of getting routine check-ups, GET YOURS! It's a blessing!!! Should be 110 percent very soon and back to work. Thanks for the prayers and keeping me lifted!!! MUCH LOVE"
Harris' agent, Dave Lee, told the newspaper the cyst wasn't cancerous.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Harris would miss the remainder of the team's offseason program.
