Eagles sign DT Logan
Jun 6, 2013 - 3:14 PM Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Eagles signed 2013 third- round selection Bennie Logan to a four-year contract on Thursday.Logan tallied 107 tackles, 12 1/2 tackles for loss and five sacks during his three-year career as a defensive tackle at LSU.
The 6-2, 309-pounder appeared in all 13 games (12 starts) as a junior in 2012 and recorded 45 tackles, 5 1/2 tackles for loss, two sacks and two blocked field goals for a defense that ranked in the top 10 in the country in run defense (ninth) and total defense (eighth).
