Brother charged in alleged stabbing of Bucs' Williams
Mar 25, 2014 - 9:27 PM Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The brother of Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams has been charged with allegedly stabbing Williams in the thigh.Eric Baylor turned himself in Monday night, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Baylor, 23, is charged with aggravated battery domestic violence and was being held on $1,000 bail in connection with the alleged stabbing Sunday afternoon.
Officers who responded to a call found Williams, 26, suffering from a stab wound to his left thigh, police said. In their investigation, detectives say they learned Baylor had stabbed his brother with a kitchen knife.
Williams was treated at St. Joseph's Hospital and released and a warrant was issued for Baylor's arrest.
The wide receiver caught 22 passes for 216 yards and two touchdowns in six games for the Bucs this past season. He was placed on injured reserve in October with a torn hamstring.
