Saints bring back McCown
Mar 26, 2014 - 6:37 PM Metairie, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with quarterback Luke McCown on a one-year contract.McCown served as Drew Brees' backup in 2013 and as the club's holder on field goal and extra point attempts.
The 32-year-old McCown, who is entering his 11th NFL season, has played in 38 career games with nine starts in stints with Cleveland (2004), Tampa Bay (2005-08), Jacksonville (2009-11), Atlanta (2012) and New Orleans (2013). He has completed 184-of-317 career pass attempts for 2,035 yards with nine touchdowns and 14 interceptions for a passer rating of 68.3.
