Jets sign Jacoby Ford

Apr 1, 2014 - 9:32 PM Florham Park, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Jets appear to have solved their need for an experienced return man, with the team announcing Tuesday that it has agreed to terms with ex-Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford.

Ford set a Raiders' single-season record with three kickoff return touchdowns as a rookie in 2010 and owns four over his four-year career, having averaged 25.0 yards on 75 overall runbacks.

The 26-year-old speedster added 57 catches totaling 848 yards and three touchdowns in 38 career games with Oakland, but had just 99 yards on 13 receptions this past season.

Josh Cribbs, who served as New York's primary kick returner in 2013, is currently an unrestricted free agent.
