Redskins cut Hull, Mouton

Apr 5, 2014 - 4:55 PM Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins released a pair of veteran players Saturday, severing ties with linebacker Josh Hull and cornerback Ryan Mouton.

Hull appeared in 11 games, primarily on special teams, and recorded 14 tackles after signing with the Redskins in October. The Penn State product spent his first three NFL seasons as a member of the St. Louis Rams.

Mouton was released by Washington with an injury settlement prior to the start of last season, but re-signed to a futures deal following the conclusion of the 2013 campaign. A third-round pick of Tennessee in 2009, he compiled 79 tackles in 36 games with the Titans from 2009-12.

The Redskins also waived wide receiver Josh Bellamy, who played in five games with the club last season following a promotion from the practice squad.
