Jets returning to Cortland for training camp

Apr 23, 2014 - 5:20 PM Florham Park, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Jets will again return to SUNY Cortland for training camp this summer.

It will mark the fifth time in the last six years that the Jets will conduct their training camp at the school's campus in central New York state.

"I love the fact that we are going back to Cortland," said Jets coach Rex Ryan in a statement Wednesday. "Everyone knows how I feel about going away. I think it is a big part of building our team camaraderie. The community, the school and the people of Cortland have been outstanding and we are all excited to be going back this summer."

The lone year in the past six that the Jets did not travel for training camp was 2011 because of the labor issue.
