Redskins sign LB Brown
Jul 28, 2014 - 5:42 PM Richmond, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins signed linebacker Everette Brown to an undisclosed deal on Monday.Brown was originally selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round (43rd overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft and has since appeared in 38 career games with three starts for the Panthers (2009-11), San Diego Chargers (2011-12) and Dallas Cowboys (2013).
Brown, who also spent time on the rosters of the Detroit Lions (2012) and Philadelphia Eagles (2013), has recorded 59 tackles (42 solo) with seven sacks, four forced fumbles, three passes defensed and an interception.
Last season, he appeared in seven games for the Cowboys and notched a sack in his season debut versus Minnesota in Week 9.
