Bucs OC Tedford has procedure

Aug 26, 2014 - 12:16 AM Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford underwent a medical procedure on Monday morning.

Bucs head coach Lovie Smith would not divulge details, saying only Tedford will be out a "short period of time."

Smith was unsure if Tedford would return for the Bucs' preseason finale on Thursday against Washington.

Tedford is entering his first season as an NFL coach. He spent 11 years as the head coach at the University of California and posted a record of 82-57 from 2002-11 with offensive units that featured current NFL stars Aaron Rodgers, Marshawn Lynch and DeSean Jackson.
